What were your impressions of your destination?
It was phenomenal, I loved Tanznaia and felt at home straight away, I would go back in a heart beat. The people are magical and so hospitable, the land stunning and the culture magnetising.
Was the work interesting and challenging?
The work and activites were both interesting and challenging, I loved my placement however would def emphasis the importance of being creative and using your initative. You get what you give.
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
The accommodation was luxury compared to what I have previously stayed in in Africa. It had everything one needed including yummy food and a homely feel.
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
I think CCS is an incredible organisation, the staff before and during the trip were faultless, all my questions were answered and all my worries solved.
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
I did get value for money, especially in the way of food, accommodation and extra activities however it can be done much much cheaper. If you want a safe, supported stay it is perfect.
Would you recommend the project to others?
Yes
