What were your impressions of your destination?
I was so lucky to go to this fantastic part of the world. Its beauty was belittlingly awesome!
Was the work interesting and challenging?
Living in the jungle was very challenging and the work regime too. However there was a recognition that everyone has their own boundaries and abilities and you put in as much hard work as you were personally able.
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
The group was very welcoming, the jungle was too, but respect is needed on both accounts.
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
This organisation has exactly the right balance between allowing us to be independent, but also being responsible for us. We were given a full induction into jungle living and the risks involved.
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
Can't put a price to experiencing virgin jungle first hand.
Would you recommend the project to others?
