What were your impressions of your destination?
I absolutely adored Siem Reap and am going back as soon as possible.
Was the work interesting and challenging?
They were definitely challenging!!! Teaching English to up to 70 children without any previous preparation can be quite daunting! On the whole it was hugely enjoyable and very satisfying.
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
The accomodation was fine - very basic but what you would expect. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and I felt very welcome and comfortable.
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
To an extent, yes. It would have been nice to have had a little more in country support but I understand the need to keep admin etc costs down. In general, the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
Yes. Absolutely.
