What were your impressions of your destination?
Hot, sunny in the West and raining in the East! All the Fijians were really friendly.
Was the work interesting and challenging?
Yes, definitely. Fijians are not the most organised of people and turning up to a session after being told you will just have 1 netball team to coach and then being handed 80 primary school children was challenging! Coaching the university teams was also hard as they were talented!
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
The accommodation was ok, apparently it's even better now! Everyone in the house were really friendly and all willing to make suggestions as to what to do and trips were organised most weekends.
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
Yes, both staff in Fiji were fantastic, picking us up from the airport at 3am when we arrived and then always helpful and up for a laugh!
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
Yes, and when you go back you get a discount which makes it even better!
Would you recommend the project to others?
