Name: Amy

Hometown: Macclesfield

Destination: Belize and Guatamala

Project type: Conservation, learning Spanish and teaching assistant

Organisation: Trekforce Worldwide

What were your impressions of your destination?

Both Belize and Guatamala are beautiful countries. And Belize has a nice mixture of different cultures.

Was the work interesting and challenging?

Conservation work was very challenging and I had some of the best times of my life. The best way to learn a language is to learn it in the country. And being a teaching assistant was also very challenging but very fulfilling.

What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?

By the end of being in the jungle I loved my hammock and I didn't want to sleep in a bed. And I lived with very welcoming, friendly, hospitable families in both Guatamala and while teaching in Belize.

Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?

Extremely happy. They are all very experienced and 100% supportive.

Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?

Absolutely, it is worth every penny.

Would you recommend the project to others?

Yes
