What were your impressions of your destination?
Verbier has a great apres ski life and there is always somewhere or something to do. The skiing is arguably the best in Europe and the resort is huge.
Was the work interesting and challenging?
Although over ten weeks we were all working towards a qualification so were studying, it was always enjoyable and the mix of fun as well as learning was great. There's a really strong team mentality amongst the gappies as well as the ski school and the Altitude staff are some of the most welcoming people Ive met. The great thing about the Altitude Futures course is the emphasis on fun both on and off piste and it makes the whole course a full personal experience.
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
We stayed in a large, very comfortable 10 bed traditional chalet. It was within walking distance of the town and lifts up the mountain and was always a comfy place to return to after a hard day.
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
The organisation was excellent and really cared about us individually, doing whatever they could to make us as comfortable as possible. The staff were awesome and as well as making great friends on the course, we were integrated into the larger ski school as a whole to become part of a really friendly and fun-loving team.
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
Definitely.
