What were your impressions of your destination?
I loved my destination, the falls were amazing and the city was great, within easy reach of both Argentina and Paraguay.
Was the work interesting and challenging?
The work was challenging but very rewarding. I taught children of a range of ages and found them to be keen to learn and great fun! It was important to be creative with lessons to keep them engaged in learning English.
What was your accommodation like? Did you feel comfortable and welcome at all times?
I stayed in a comfotable hotel that was in easy reach of the schools I worked at. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and some people spoke English for the times when my Portuguese failed me!
Were you happy with the organisation and the staff that were responsible for you during your stay?
Ana was responsible for me in Foz and she is amazing! She looked after me from the onset by being supportive with the teaching aspect but more importantly with my social life. She has wonderful friends and family and is the reason my trip was fantastic fun! Thanks Ana, I look forward to my next trip to Foz!
Do you feel that you got value for money on the project?
I feel a lot of the money I paid was to cover UK costs, it would be nice to see more of it going to the institutions I worked at.
